Little and Local Hapori has found it's home at Oromahoe Kindergarten. It's a space that already has a thriving community and is one of Timebank's Organisational members. Together along with the it's original Little and Local stall holders, workshop facilitators and the new ones that are being drawn in by it community vibes and wholesome feel, it leaves people feeling nourished and connected.
But its not only a place to gather, Timebank achieved funding for Melody Oldfield to hold a singing workshop for 12 months. She shares her songs and rhythms by ear, they become a toolkit to reach into when you need it. She shares short songs, both original and international.
We also hold a crop-swap, that is is abundant with the gift of knowledge and seeds, cuttings, veges and fruit for the now and for future and on top of that there is ad hoc workshops on various topics for Timebank members and the wider community.
This is topped off with the all important cake and coffee and soup and slice.
We cram this into 3 hours from 10-1 on the 4th Saturday of the month and its well worth the visit!
