We've really been in the news lately, what with a The Northland Age article (based on this press release) and getting a mention in this lovely feature in The Northern Advocate about the Eco Centre in Kaeo established by timebanker Maureen Paterson (pictured below left, with Maryann Lusty).

This has been the location for several timebank events including the recent Beeswax Wrap workshop on Saturday 4th July, with Bay of Islands-Whangaroa coordinator Charlotte Boss. Charlotte is there for both workshops and informal drop-ins on a regular basis for members to meet up and chat, ask for assistance posting offers & requests, and do orientations. She and Maureen are really glad to get back to being able to hold events here again now the Covid restrictions have been lifted.
If there's a timebank event you'd like to see held here get in touch with Charlotte, whether you're keen to learn or teach, or just meet up for a cuppa or shared meal and socialise with fellow timebankers!
Meanwhile look out for Charlotte & Kaikohe-Hokianga coordinator Graeme Kettle with a Tai Tokerau Timebank stall at Tangaroa Environment Wananga Saturday 11th July 10-2 at Kaeo Rugby Club. Pop along and say hello!
